Eternally Yours, is a piece I’ve really treasured working on. It’s also one of my most personal. Sharing a night with you when I felt most in love, and so validated in that love. 
I wanted to create an artwork that not only shared the love felt in Riverside that night, but to also show that love can dark, haunting, beautiful, and eternal. Even in everyday settings. 
My work started as a sketch from a photo, and as I began to fill the landscape in I decided to use skeletons as the couple embracing. I enjoyed their anonymity, and that you the viewer, could imagine yourself as the subject of the piece. Carefully curating the color pallet to reflect the gloom and glow from that dark lovely evening. Once finished the piece was printed on canvas with the best high definition quality. The final process of this artwork was to add texture medium to it, to bring it fully to life.
